I was approached on Twitter today by @mikemaxon to see if I would hire him to handle all of my social media marketing. I happen to be looking for someone to help out with social media marketing, so I gave it consideration and went to investigate further.
One of he secrets I share with my friends is how to “check-out” who they might be hiring and to do their homework before hiring anyone. Hiring new people is time consuming and costly.

Seriously? This guy wants to handle my social media, the public face of my business, our reputation, our branding and this is what he has to show. I don’t think so! The secret here is to make sure you always know who you’re hiring by checking them out in every way possible before hiring.
These are the types of secrets you’ll find in the book and hiring decisions aren’t always easily undone. A bad hire isn’t only costly, but could be very damaging to your business in many ways.
